Over 150 photographers' exhibits are on display – professional photographers from all over the world, including photojournalism and mobile photography are called for Berlin Fotofestival the international competition.
Some of the best pictures of both up-and-coming and globally acclaimed photographers are on display at Station Berlin.
Bringing in a focus on multimedia and mobile photography in the works on display at this year's festival, as well as in the discussions and talks of the Professional Week, we are also clearly saying, yes, the times they are changing and yes, we have to move on.
The festival aims to show a wide variety of work, including documentary exhibits and conferences, the future of photojournalism, and mobile photography. A young generation of digital natives are driving photographers and publishers to come up with new ways of visual communication and engagement with their audiences through shifts in media consumption habits, image interpretation and interests.
Be Open to All Thoughts
In 2013, through its Co-founder and Owner, Ms. Duscha Rosen, a very modest lady who spoke English fluently and was passionate about new things and cultures, I got to know the Browse Gallery. Then by providing advice and creating graphic design, I joined her team in organising the event. It was simply enchanting.
